Don't Let A Water Leak Ruin Your Day!

Nothing can ruin your day quicker than getting an outrageous water bill. This typically means a hidden plumbing leak

Unfortunately, most water leaks are not very obvious. Most of the plumbing pipes are hidden from plain sight, behind walls, under concrete slabs, and buried under the ground.

The thought of water leaking, rotting drywall, eating way at the insulation, and mold lurking in your home or business can literally make you sick!

Traditional water leak detection can cost hundreds of dollars in repair cost that could have been avoided.

The Leak Doctor has invested heavily in the latest water leak detection equipment and training to avoid these repair costs.

The Leak Doctor has a few tips for detecting water leaks in your home or business.

Stop & Listen

Stop and take the time to listen for any odd or unusual sounds, water running when it shouldn’t or a dripping sound. Pipes may make groaning or moaning sounds when abnormally pressurized. Look for any warm areas on the floor, this typically indicates a slab leak.

Inspect your home

Look under sinks for any moisture, inspect the baseboards, walls, and ceilings for any spots or wet areas.

Use your nose

Be mindful of any strange or odd odors. A musty or mildew odor can be a clear indication, there is a water leak.

Spike in your water bill

If you’ve recently received a spike in your water bill, it is a strong indication of a leak. Don’t ignore it, the problem will only get worse.

If you suspect a water leak in your home or business, not only are you wasting a precious resource, it is costing you in wasted water,  repair cost, and pose a serious health risk.
